"The alerts made me panic for no reason"
I got a few security alerts and my first reaction was, "Wait, what did I do wrong?" But they didn’t really explain what was happening, so I ended up guessing way too much and reaching out to support more than I wanted to. It felt more confusing than helpful.

"Felt Like I Was Always Being Sold To"
Support was decent enough, but every time I called, it felt like they were more interested in getting me to buy extra stuff than actually helping with my site. I feel kind of stupid for trusting them in the first place, because I just needed help, not a sales pitch every time. It got old really fast.

"Frustrated with the renewal charge"
I’m really not happy with how the renewal billing was handled. The charge felt shady, and when I tried to ask about it, I kept getting different answers depending on who I talked to. One person said one thing, another said something else, and it just made the whole situation feel even more frustrating. Not a great experience

"Malware scan didn’t seem reliable"
I ran the malware scan and it kept telling me everything was clean, but then I checked with a couple other scanners right after and they found malware. That really makes me question how much I can trust this tool. If this keeps happening, I’ll probably have to switch to something else.

"The pricing was way too hard to figure out"
I swear, finding the actual price was basically a scavenger hunt. I had to click around way more than anyone should, and by the time I finally saw the cost, it was absolutely higher than I expected. Just put the prices upfront. It’s the easiest thing in the world to be clear about that.

It does the basic stuff fine, so I can’t say it’s totally useless, but it just feels WAY overpriced to me. For what I paid, I expected a lot more.

"Slowed My Site Down More Than I Expected"
As someone who’s picky about site speed, I noticed the difference almost right away after adding SiteLock. My pages just felt slower to load, and it started getting frustrating. I gave it a bit of time, but in the end I removed it and my site felt better without it.

The dashboard is easy to use, and I can usually find what I need without getting frustrated. It works fine for me right now, but if they start making it clunky or harder to navigate, I’d probably look for something else.

"Not the best if you're a bit techy"
SiteLock did find some issues, so that part was fine, but the reports felt vague. I wanted more detail on what was actually wrong and how to fix it, but support mostly kept trying to push upgrades instead. If you're a basic user it might be okay, but if you know your way around tech a little, it can get kinda frustrating

"Support took way too long to get back to me"
I had to reach out to SiteLock support a few times it was frustrating. The replies took forever, and when they finally did respond, they didn’t even really answer what I was asking at first. So I had to keep chasing them up, which got old fast. For something that’s supposed to deal with security, I really expected way quicker and more helpful support. Definitely not a great experience.

"Yeah, they got my hacked site fixed fast"
I wasn’t exactly thrilled to be dealing with a hacked site, and I was a bit skeptical at first. But they cleaned out the malware quickly, and the site was back up and working again without much hassle. Not the situation I wanted to be in, but I have to admit they handled it well

"Setup was more confusing than I expected"
I signed up for SiteLock thinking it would be quick to get everything set up, but for some reason it ended up being way more of a hassle than I expected.

The instructions didn’t feel very clear, and I kept clicking around trying to figure out what had actually been completed and what still needed my attention. A few parts felt like they were written for people who already know all the technical stuff.

Maybe it works well once everything is finally running, but the setup process was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t want to go through it again.

"Canceling took longer than expected"
I canceled my order and the refund took a bit longer than I would’ve liked, which was kind of frustrating. That said, the support team was polite, and it did get sorted out in the end.
